Introduction
What Wazline is, what each part of the platform does, and the terms you'll see throughout these docs.
Wazline turns a WhatsApp Business number into a shared, AI-assisted workspace for your team. Customers keep chatting on their own WhatsApp. Your agents answer from one inbox on the web or in the mobile app, an AI assistant handles routine questions, and admins run campaigns, collect leads and connect other systems through the API.
What’s in the platform
| Area | What it does | Who uses it |

| AI Assistant | Answers customers automatically from your products, FAQs, policies and website pages, and hands the chat to a person when asked. | Admins set it up |
| Campaigns | Contacts, lists, approved WhatsApp templates and bulk sends with delivery results. | Admins |
| WhatsApp Flows | In-chat forms for bookings, leads and surveys, sent automatically when a customer writes a trigger word. | Admins |
| Website widget | An AI chat bubble for your website that captures visitors’ names and emails as leads. | Admins |
| Lead Finder | Finds businesses on Google Maps with their phone, email and website, ready to add to a contact list. | Admins |
| API | Lets your website or other systems send WhatsApp template and text messages. | Developers |
| Mobile app | The agent inbox on Android, with push notifications. | Agents |
Note: What you see depends on your package. If a menu item is missing, it isn’t included in your plan — see Packages & usage limits.
Admins and agents
Wazline has two kinds of users:
- Admins run the workspace from the Admin Panel: agents, AI, campaigns, flows, the website widget, Lead Finder and API clients. An admin who also has an agent number can open the chat inbox with the Agent Panel button in the top bar.
- Agents work in the Team Inbox, on the web or in the mobile app.
Key terms
- Workspace — your company’s Wazline address: the URL you sign in at. The mobile app and the API use the same domain.
- WhatsApp number — a business number connected to Wazline. A workspace can have more than one; you choose which one you’re working on after signing in.
- 24-hour window — WhatsApp only lets a business send free-form messages within 24 hours of the customer’s last message. After that, only an approved template can be sent.
- Template — a message format approved by Meta. Templates start conversations, power campaigns and re-open closed chats.
- New Customers — chats that no agent owns yet. Any agent can pick them up.
