Training the AI
Teach the assistant your products, FAQs, policies and website pages — by hand, by CSV or by crawling your site.
The AI assistant answers from the training data you give it in AI Training. The more complete and up to date it is, the better the answers.
Categories
| Category | Use it for | How to add it |
|---|---|---|
| Products | Items or services with a description, price, variations and stock | Manually or by CSV |
| FAQ | Common questions and their answers | Manually or by CSV |
| Policies | Delivery, returns, privacy and other rules | Manually or by crawling a page |
| Knowledge Base | General information about your business | Manually or by crawling a page |
Add an entry
- Click Add Training Data.
- Choose a Category.
- Fill in the Title (a product name or a question) and the Content (a description or an answer). For products you can also add Price and Stock.
- Click Add.
Each entry can be edited, deleted or switched off. Switched-off entries stay saved but aren’t used by the AI.
Upload a CSV
Use Bulk Upload (CSV) to add many entries at once. Choose the category, select your file and click Upload.
| Category | Columns |
|---|---|
| Products | name, description, price, variations, stock |
| FAQ | question, answer |
The first row must contain the column names. Download Sample CSV File gives you a ready-made template.
question,answer
Do you deliver on Sundays?,"Yes, we deliver every day between 9 am and 9 pm."
How can I pay?,"Cash on delivery, card or bank transfer."
Crawl a website page
Add a page from your website and its text becomes a training entry.
- Under Crawl a Website, enter the Page URL — for example your FAQ or returns page.
- Choose Knowledge Base or Policies.
- Click Add & Crawl. The page is crawled straight away.
Pages are re-crawled automatically once a day, or immediately with Crawl now. A page that hasn’t changed since the last crawl is skipped, so re-crawling never creates duplicates. Each source shows its status — OK, Pending, Failed or Disabled — and when it was last crawled.
Import a sitemap
To add a whole site, point Import All Pages From a Sitemap at your sitemap.xml (or a sitemap index). Wazline lists the pages it finds — select the ones you want and click Import Selected Routes. Up to 300 pages are added per import and crawled in the background. Pages you already added are left as they are, so importing again only picks up new pages.
Tips
- Write FAQ answers the way you’d say them to a customer.
- Keep one topic per entry — short, focused entries give better answers than one long document.
- Update prices and stock in Products whenever they change, or re-upload your CSV.
Our team is happy to walk you through Wazline and help you set up your workspace.
