Contacts & lists

Campaigns are sent to lists of contacts. Contacts belong to the WhatsApp number that’s currently selected.

Phone numbers

Always include the country code. +971 50 123 4567, 971501234567 and 00971501234567 all work, and spaces and dashes are fine. A number without a country code, such as 050 123 4567, is rejected — WhatsApp needs the full international number.

Add contacts

Open Contacts from Bulk Messaging → View Customer.

• Add Manually — enter a name and number, optionally choose lists, and click Save Contact.
• Upload CSV — choose a CSV file with Name and Number columns (up to 5 MB). Check the preview of the first rows, optionally choose lists, and click Confirm Upload. Rows with numbers that can’t be used are skipped and reported, so you can fix them.
• Fetch Contacts — adds everyone who has messaged this WhatsApp number. Numbers that are already contacts are skipped.

Lists

A list is a named group of contacts that you use as a campaign’s audience.

1. Open Lists from Bulk Messaging → View List and click + Create List.
2. Enter a list name — names must be unique.
3. Select existing contacts, or upload a CSV of contacts to add, and create the list.

Open a list to view its contacts, edit it or delete it. You can also create a list from the first step of a new campaign, or add Lead Finder results straight to a list.
