Campaigns
Send an approved template to a contact list, follow delivery and download the results.
A campaign sends one approved template to everyone on a contact list.
Before you start
- A list with the contacts you want to reach.
- An approved template, synced into Wazline. Campaigns don’t fill template variables, so choose a template without
{{1}}-style variables. - Your recipients’ permission to message them on WhatsApp. Meta can restrict numbers that are often blocked or reported.
Create a campaign
- Open Campaigns and click + Create Campaign.
- Step 1 — Campaign Details & List. Enter a Campaign Name and an optional Description, choose a list (or create one), and click Next.
- Step 2 — Select Template. Pick an approved template, check the preview and click Create Campaign.
The campaign is saved as a draft.
Run and stop
- Run starts sending straight away, after you confirm.
- Stop cancels the rest of the campaign. Contacts who haven’t been messaged yet won’t receive it, and a stopped campaign can’t be resumed.
Results
Open a campaign to see Total Recipients, Delivered, Failed and the Success Rate, with a row for every contact. Filter by status, search by name or number, and export with Download Delivered CSV or Download Failed CSV.
Campaigns you no longer need can be archived, and restored later from the Archived tab.
Sending limits
Bulk Messaging shows your number’s WhatsApp Daily Limit — how many business-initiated conversations Meta allows in 24 hours — along with campaign statistics. Your package may also limit bulk messages per day and month. Plan large campaigns around these limits.
Replies
Campaign messages aren’t assigned to an agent. When a contact replies, the chat appears in New Customers in the Team Inbox.
